I have a little obsession and always have... Mascara!
I am what you might call a "Mascara Junkie". I love trying all the new brushes and formulas and have usually 2 or 3 I use in rotation for different looks. But sometimes the good old favorite is still the best. I have found that I actually prefer the more plush traditional wands as opposed to the new plasticy type. Here is a link to find the 12 Best Mascaras of All Time from Harpers Bazaar. The prices range from drugstore affordable to OMG $50 for Mascara?!!? Check it out! Wedding Season is Officially here!!!
Here are some top tips every Bride needs to know when it comes to being picture perfect for your big day!!!
How to clean your Makeup Brushes like a Pro...What you need to clean your Makeup Brushes super well and super quick:
1. Olive Oil 2. Dawn Dish Soap 3. Small Plate 4. Dirty Makeup Brushes! 5. Clean Towel to Dry the Brushes on
*Special Note - NEVER hold the brush pointing upwards under the water faucet, as the water will expand the wood and desolve the glue holding the brush and bristles together. You always want to swirl the brush around in your palm letting the water naturally flow and remove the makeup. Contrary to popular belief, new research has found that it is NOT beneficial to have DIRTY HAIR when going to get your hair colored. If you have ever had an issue getting your color to take or your blonde to turn that perfectly pale blonde shade, dirty hair may be to blame! Having that extra layer of oil on the hair cuticle makes it harder for color to penetrate. So next time you come in for a fresh new look , considering coming in with freshly washed hair.
