I have a little obsession and always have... Mascara! 
I am what you might call a "Mascara Junkie". I love trying all the new brushes and formulas and have usually 2 or 3 I use in rotation for different looks. But sometimes the good old favorite is still the best. I have found that I actually prefer the more plush traditional wands as opposed to the new plasticy type.

Wedding Season is Officially here!!!
Here are some top tips every Bride needs to know when it comes to being picture perfect for your big day!!!

• Pictures, pictures, pictures.... a must for creating the perfect look to be customized for you! The best way to collaborate with your Hair or Makeup Artist is to have images of looks you love and possibly even looks you don't. Having images help your Stylist get a better idea of your style and what your looking for.
• If you get a spray tan, do so a few days before your ceremony and exfoliate!
• Get your hair colored with your stylist 1-2 weeks prior to your Wedding. That way if there is anything you want to change you still have time. Also tell your hairstylist to take it easy with the Haircut, most Wedding styles require a little length.
• If you get a facial in preparation for your close up, do so a week or more before the big day, as facials tend to bring impurities to the skin before you achieve your glowing complexion.
• Don't forget your mani/pedi! Try and find a spot to get them done if you have time the day before. 
• Bring your favorite lip color to be applied at the end of your makeup application and have one of your Bridesmaids hold on to it for you for touch ups. Lots of smiles and photos equals dry lips!

What you need to clean your Makeup Brushes super well and super quick:
1. Olive Oil
2. Dawn Dish Soap
3. Small Plate
4. Dirty Makeup Brushes!
5. Clean Towel to Dry the Brushes on

• Start with the plate, add equal parts Olive Oil to Dawn Dish Soap. (The Olive Oil not only attracts the oil in the makeup, but also conditions the brush to leave the bristles soft. The Dish Soap helps remove all the makeup and sanitizes the bristles.)
• Then take your first dirtiest brush and swirl it around on the plate, mixing the olive oil and soap together. 
• Now continue swirling the brush around in the palm of your hand while rinsing under warm water from your faucet.
• Continue until water runs clear from the brush. You will be amazed at how quickly this works and just how much makeup it pulls out that has been hiding deep in the bristles.
• Now set the brush to dry on its side on a towel on the counter over night. 
• Enjoy your 'good as new' brushes!

*Special Note - NEVER hold the brush pointing upwards under the water faucet, as the water will expand the wood and desolve the glue holding the brush and bristles together. You always want to swirl the brush around in your palm letting the water naturally flow and remove the makeup.

Who knew all the uses for Baking Soda? From freshening up your home to using it as a super simple yet amazing Facial on the cheap!
Try this great  Facial especially good for Hormonal Acne:
+Mix 1 tbsp fresh squeezed Orange Juice
+with 1 tbsp Baking Soda
add more Baking Soda as needed to thicken the mixture (note it will remain somewhat liquidy and a little messy)
Apply generously to entire face avoiding the delicate eye and lip area.
Let sit for 20-25 minuets (mixture will harden on face during this time) 
Using warm water on your fingertips, rinse off dried facial in a circular motion to exfoliate your face.
Now enjoy your baby soft and smooth skin!
Use once a week for sensitive skin and every other day for acneprone/oily skin.
